  The UK Space Agency is funding space sector projects that build international partnerships, with grants of up to £1.5m per project.   Annual Investment Allowance lets a business deduct the full value of qualifying plant and machinery, up to £1 million per accounting period, from its profits before tax rather than spreading the deduction over several years via writing down allowances. It excludes business cars, items owned for another purpose before being brought into business use, and items given to the business. Spend above the AIA amount can be claimed as first-year allowances or writing down allowances instead.

  Depot Charging Scheme

  Up to£1,000,000

  A government grant that pays part of the cost of installing electric vehicle charging infrastructure at fleet depots, so operators can run battery-electric vans, HGVs and coaches. The first window (25 March to 30 June 2026) covered 70% of charge point and civil costs up to £1 million per organisation, with works to finish by 31 March 2027. A further window is expected to open on 28 October 2026 for projects running to 31 March 2028, but the page says terms and grant rates for that phase are not yet confirmed.

  Innovate UK is offering grants from a pot of up to £3 million for UK registered businesses running business-led industrial research projects with a partner business in Singapore. Each UK project can request between £100,000 and £900,000, and the Singapore partner applies separately for its own funding from Enterprise Singapore. Projects must sit in advanced manufacturing, clean energy, life sciences or specified frontier digital technologies, last 24 to 36 months and start no earlier than 1 May 2027.

  Denbighshire County Council offers grants of £5,000 to £50,000 towards improving commercial properties inside the town or city centre boundaries of eight named Denbighshire towns. It mainly funds external building works such as shopfronts, windows, signage, roofs and structural repairs, with internal or energy efficiency work only allowed alongside a wider package of external improvements.   A UK Government grant that reimburses visa application fees when a fast-growing UK business in clean energy, life sciences, or digital and technologies recruits specialist staff from overseas, including their dependants.
